About the Editor

Tayler earned her BFA in Creative Writing and BA in English at Lakeland University in 2024. Immediately upon graduation, Tayler decided to pursue her dreams as an editor by starting her own editing business. She has experience in numerous facets of writing, including blog writing, social media, creative writing, developmental editing, and copy editing. Tayler wrote her own romance novel, Kindling Hearts, about a small town Wisconsin love story. She has dreams of publishing someday.

 

Tayler understands the writing process. She knows what it's like to create a story from only the ideas in her head. She knows how intimidating and time-consuming the process of writing can be. She knows the kind of vulnerability it takes to share what you've written and be open to feedback from others. She knows that it can be painful to go back and revise, sometimes deleting or changing the words on a page that took you hours to put there in the first place. She knows the process because she's lived it, both as a writer and an editor.

Trusting your work with Tayler means trusting a fellow writer. It means sitting down together, as book lovers, and having a conversation about your characters as if they're real people. It means sharing your work with a respectful editor who will do her best to keep your story true to the vision you initially intended. Trusting Tayler means trusting in your story and your future as a writer.
